The Boiling Crab in KoreaTown, L.A. by Wilshire and Alexandria is a fast-paced, spot with fresh shrimp, crab legs, mussels, and more. They allow 1/2 pounds to be sold. My friends and I ordered 1/2 pound bags of fresh shrimp in the “whole sha-bang” sauce and we devoured every scrumptious piece in minutes.
When in L.A., take a moment, in a breath, and step into the world around you. Between the restaurants and street parking is the beautiful metropolis around you. Admire the streets, the palm trees.
The Roof on Wilshire takes you to a rooftop restaurant and bar, showcasing the cityline of Los Angeles’ Downtown Metropolis, Hollywood Strip, and the infamous Hollywood sign.
Enjoying a Wilshire Salad with spring greens and goat cheese and the Cue Southside, with Vodka, cucumber, mint, and limejuice by the view is all a girl can ask for to relax and enjoy.
A little drive past Salton Sea, near Slab City is a hand-painted museum – Salvation Mountain. The words “God is Love,” greets you, and the psychedelic colors and patterns welcomes you into this up front and personal art masterpiece created by artist, Leonard Knight.
